Young People Are the Bokamoso

Many homes in Winterveldt, South Africa, are without plumbing or electricity.

It may seem like insurmountable odds for a young person in Wintervedlt, South Africa, to attend an institution of higher learning given the challenges they face: rampant crime, pervasive poverty, sporadic electricity, unpaved roads and humble shelters for homes.

Yet, the Bokamoso Youth Centre students listed below are determined to achieve their goals. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, some 142 scholarships have been given to 79 young people who have attended college and training programs. They are graduating and getting jobs in banking, health care and communications.
