Bokamoso Youth Foundation: The Future Begins Here

Together We Can Create a Brighter Bokamoso (Future)

Together, the young people of the Bokamoso Youth Centre in Winterveldt, South Africa, learn the vital life skills necessary to face the triple threat of poverty, crime and the AIDS epidemic.

Together, they share their strength, determination and hope with each other, their community and with US audiences through their mentoring programs and performances.

Together, we can create our Bokamoso, which means "future." The future of this invaluable program, however, depends on friends and donors around the world.

By U.S. standards, the cost of changing a life in South Africa is astonishingly low. With grants of only $1,500 per year, graduates have received the college education they need to go work in the health professions, retail management and technical fields—careers that would have been unimaginable without Bokamoso’s support and guidance.

Meet Our Bokamoso Family

Without volunteers and supporters like teacher Roy Barber, SBA advocate Kathy Tobias, Dr. Alicia Armstrong, psychologist Marilee Aronson or the Bridgeman family, and you, there would be no bokamoso. The same is true of Bokamoso's dedicated staff.

Please take a moment to get to know us, then join us as a volunteer, a supporter and/or sponsor!

Support Bokamoso!

The Bokamoso Foundation does not have paid US staff. It was created and is operated by caring people like you. Bokamoso Youth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
